Innovative Application of Gene Editing Team
Principal Investigator: Wei Wenkang, Research Fellow/ Ph.D.
The research team is made up of members from three institutes on campus at GDAAS. Our objectives are as follows: (1) improving or inventing CRISPR –based gene editing technologies such as multiplex gene knockout, gene replacement, and gene insertion; (2) generating new germplasms with superior traits such as higher yields, better quality, and better tolerance to biotic or abiotic stresses.
